and very nicely housed in this carved frame

The largest block measures 4 1/4" cubed

Early Pennsylvania Folk Art Watercolor, Leaves and Bloom in Cincinnati card game co and traces of old redA beautiful small 19th c. Pennsylvania folk art watercolor in rich brown and pink colors made I think not from pigments in a watercolor set, but rather from fruits of the earth. Simple, but to my eye pretty much a perfect thing, with the delicate arching sprigs, tiny berries and detailing on the bloom just the right floruishes. 4 7 8 t x 3 1 2and in very good condition, mid 19th c. I believe.
