There is some old cloth tape stuck to the underside of the lid I have not tried to remove

with some smudges and minor bends but no tears in the yellow paper of the cover

The cages are nicely done, each with six facets (hexagons I guess that makes them) and four "bars" that interlock. And then three links on either side.
