I like the power and punch but the hint of herbaceousness is a potential concern

the Brovia Barolo can be a real overachiever

punchy and velvety medium full-bodied flavors display only a moderate amount of '95 style tannins on the otherwise delicious

This is potentially a monument in the making if it can continue to add depth as it ages and the potential to do so certainly appears to be present

Camille Giroud, Volnay Lurets Vintage:2013 on the distinctly cool aromasThis is aromatically similar to the straight Volnay though while I like the slightly better complexity the nose isnt quite as fresh. There is better vibrancy on the palate of the succulent and round flavors that also exude a subtle minerality on the slightly warm and raspy finish. This is certainly good but its not quite as well balanced.
