No real reason you couldn't put a smaller camera on there either the fitting is the standard 1 4" found on pretty much every camera but the top platform is fairly large and may get in the way of thicker lenses if you mount a camera directly to it. You can always toss a tripod head on there, of course. This thing's easily got 100 years on the clock, so there's
