Antique Hand-painted Checkerboard on Tin with Insanely Beautiful Surface fawn I [West Indies] / HandI find this game board spectacularly beautiful, with that creamy white paint making me swoon, and with the most phenomenal surface, that also has some mystery about it, which comes from the intermingling of the aged paint and tin it was painted upon brown and rust and silver all together, difficult to know quite where one ends and another begins. It was quite surprising at first to pick it up and find it quite light in weight, only then understanding
