I've found an exact match of this piece online priced pretty dearly (date also unknown)  but am pricing this one low as I'm just not certain of its origins and really just want it to be loved and worn

I purchased this piece from a very fine consignment/antiques shop just outside of Boston

Pink and Black Painted Long Wooden Snake! ink pen I've found an exact matchOne could use this snake to play stickball, or to smash a piata, or to hold down a pile of papers on a windy day. I think its pretty great, painted bubblegum pink with these black diamonds all down its back, and then a funny little face, complete with eyebrows at the rounded end. Pretty fun. 23 1 4 long x 2 3 4" wide and 1 3 4" deep. Solid wood. Scratches and dings and scuffs here and there show that it's been used for a variety of purposes!
