Leather is in  good shape with a nice patina and paper is not brittle

While wonderfully worn

Box is in good antique condition

and then these two areas of woven and knotted rope on the face

Each leaf of the "tulip" is sewn of at least two layers of wallpaper, and can be flipped the opposite way like a fan to reveal the reverse side. I love it for all of the lovely old wallpaper samples, of course for all the labor that went into making it. 5 3 4" t x 5 3 4" wide when laid
