I love how formally akin these feels to antique reliquaries

and will always grab them when I find them as who knows when knowing morse code and semaphore might come in handy

and it’s really quite beautiful sitting on the desk or table

Really lovely, and would be especially beautiful I think in a black stained, fairly wide edged frame. 9" x 7 1 8". Looks to have been extracted from a scrapbook, with the date of 1940 on the reverse.
