Antique American Empire Mahogany Pedestal Sewing / Work Table, New York, circa 1840 Recently Added 75" deep (Framed)A good antique American Empire period flame mahogany work table, New York, circa 1840. The table made from flame mahogany and having three drawers, the top with a fitted interior, the third drawer with a pleated satin fabric embroidery 'basket' (fabric is fitted around a wooden carcass). Each drawer having twin turned handles inset with an ivory inlay, the base drawer with a carved cartouche to the center and the underside having a compressed ball
