2021 J. G. Benda Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy Savoie with a high mineral contentThis is a classic vintage and will be the inaugural vintage of Brunello from the domaine. If I were a collector this is the vintage I'd want in my cellar both the brunello and the IGT are triumphs. The Brunello fruit comes from what he calls the "Vigna del Bosco" which contains a sandy well draining soil, encircled by the forest. The vines are accessible only by a narrow path through the woods from his IGT vines (the Vigna Vecchia"). The tannins on
