2022 Domaine des Comtes Lafon Volnay Santenots-du-Milieu Volnay Premier Cru, France Le Sincette Field blend of Alsatian varietiesFrom the southern slope of Volnays famed Les Santenots du Milieu (on clay limestone above Meursault), this 100% Pinot Noir is farmed organically and harvested by hand. Fermentation is native yeast with 50% whole clusters (in 2022), followed by levage of 18 22 months in barrel (1 3 new oak) before bottling with minimal sulfur.
